I know. Seems like I’ve been on sabbatical or something. Not really. The first Lord’s Day in April was my first Lord’s Day as the pastor of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in San Angelo, TX. So, this past month, I have been involved in a job search while pastoring, packing up my house, and moving my family 3 1/2 hours from our now former home. All that to say that my neglect of the M’Cheyne reading plan was not without good reason.
Now that I’m in a spot where we can resume, let me explain the madness that’s about to ensue. Within the next hour, you will see two posts: April 1 and May 1. Then, later today, I will post April 2’s reading along with today’s. Then, starting tomorrow, I will post April 3 and May 3 and so forth until we’re caught up. I’m hoping this stands as a good model for how you may choose to get caught up when, inevitably, you get behind on your yearly Scripture reading.
